Privacy policy

We've Picked is a static website. It has no user accounts, no comment forms and no sign-up forms, and we do not ask you for personal information.

What we collect

We do not collect or store personal data ourselves. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

Third parties

• Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads.
• Product images. Some product pictures are loaded directly from retailers' servers, which receive your IP address when the image is requested.
• Affiliate links. When you click a link to a retailer such as Amazon, that retailer sets its own cookies and may record the visit, and it can tell that you came from We've Picked. That is how a commission is credited. Each retailer's own privacy notice governs what it does with the data.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies of its own. Cookies that third parties set when you follow a link to them are outside our control.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we add anything that collects data — analytics, a newsletter or comments — we will update this page before it goes live.
